New Legislature Social Media Tab!

I understand it's hard to stay current with who's Twitter and Facebook is up, so that's why I put together a brand new page to that gives you links to all your legislature's social media pages. Just click on it on the top or go here.

You might say I missed some, but by my methods I haven't. I only linked to publicly available pages that the senators run, not their personal pages, that's just unethical to me. If you find them yourself, then good on you.

Enjoy their tweets!

We're back!

Brand new iPad in hand let's get this party started and cover lots and lots of legislature coverage.

I'll try to touch on the election races every now and than, but my focus is more on the legislature.

So, I'll start gathering my info and get the best insight to you weekly.

I't should be a good ride.

Synthetic Drugs Are Going Down!

Yes, weed is bad for you, so smoke a cinamon flavored expo marker.
Lawmakers will require an ID for purchasing those only after it's too late.
Knowing that here in Nebraska we place a lot of value on our kids, it should be no surprise to anyone that the legislature would certainly and quickly raise up a law to forbid Spice and K2 in the state, and the legislature probably will do that.

I'll say it right now, the law will pass.

Now technically if we go by the books in Nebraska, the legislative, executive, and judicial branches don't go by the traditional two party system. Legislators act like they have to, especially when taking anything up with fiery Ernie. Thing is though, when anything concerns kids, everyone jumps to the same side.

BREAKING NEWS: Heineman Selected as State's Leader, Indefinitely

By Matt Rokeby Contributor for The Cornstalk

The white smoke emerged earlier today from the maintenance room of the State Capitol's private parking garage, signifying that the Capitol Conclave had chosen a new leader for the State of Nebraska. In a surprise, Dave Heineman was selected as the state's permanent leader.

The Conclave had been sequestered in the maintenance room to confer regarding the unknown future of the state leadership. Not since two women ran for Nebraska governor in the 1980s has there been such turmoil in the back rooms and caverns of the State Capitol building.

The apparent lack of a strong leader willing to step forward and fill the shoes of Governor Dave Heineman forced the Capitol Conclave to meet secretly and decide the fate of Nebraska's future. Heineman was not expected to be a candidate but it is thought that he was selected due to a combination of threats, offers of red polo shirts, and whoring out Snickers the Dog out for children's parties.
